The gigantic “Imam’s Square” is one of the most majestic squares in the world. Since the beginning of the 17th century, it has been the heart of Esfahan. Lined with arcades occupied by stalls, graced by a palace, two admirable mosques and the entrance to the fabulous historical bazaar of the city: this square is truly royal. In the past it was called the “Image of the World”!
