Tabriz – Tehran – Kashan – Isfahan – Yazd – Shiraz

Day 01: Arrival Tabriz [City of grand bazar]

Flight from Istanbul to Tabriz by Turkish Airlines, arrival at Tabriz at 4:25. Meet and greet, transfer to hotel for night

Half-day visit to museums and sites of Tabriz, including the fantastic monuments of Blue Mosque, and the Azerbaijan Museum. Hotel at Tabriz.

Day 02: Tabriz-Tehran [Tehran, Persia and its history]

Tabriz, city-oasis in the past, now one of the most important cities of the country. Visit of Tabriz’ vast Bazar. After lunch, visit of Arg Tabriz, built under advisory of Illkhanate minster Taj-edin-Jahanshah. Visit of Iron Age Museum, and Ilgoli Park. Flight to Tehran. Transfer to hotel for xx nights.

(Tehran museums are closed on Monday).

Day 03: Teheran [Tehran, antiquity and modernity]

After breakfast, we will discover the capital. The Carpet Museum with its exceptional collection from all parts of Iran, the Abghineh Museum, housed in an ancient palace with a splendid collection of glass, ceramic and crystal objects of the Achemenid period. In the afternoon, visit of the Archeological Museum. Visit of Tabiat Bridge, designed by an Iranian women architect

Day 04, Tehran – Kashan [Heading south]

Departure from Tehran to Kashan, visit of Fin Garden, Tabatabai House, visit of Bazar. Hotel for X night.

Day 05, Kashan

Visit of Sialk site, Agha Bozorg Mosque, Sialk Site, Manouchehri house. Hotel pour xx nights.

Day 06, Kashan – Isfahan [Isfahan, a day in paradise]

Departure to Isfahan via Abyaneh, a beautiful village protected by UNESCO, arrival at Isfahan. The first discovery of Isfahan, visit of the Khadju, 33 arches and Shahrestan bridges. Visit of Friday Mosque.

Day 07: Isfahan

Discovery of the wonders of Isfahan, one-time capital of Persia. A real jewel of architecture, often called the Florence of the Orient, with its cascades of blue, yellow and green mosaics, and its remarkable Naghsheh – Jahan square. Visits of the Royal Palacethe Imam Mosque, a magnificent example of Iranian mosques with four ivans, and the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and to the east of the square a mosque without minarets of unique beauty, earlier called the Woman’s Mosque. Free time for a visit of the Bazaar at the end of the afternoon.

Day 08: Isfahan – Yazd [Yazd, the land of wind towers]

Departure from Isfahan to Yazd, via Nain. Visit of Friday Mosque in Nain, departure to Yazd. Hotel for xx nights.

Day 09: Yazd

Visit of the Friday MosqueMir Chakhmag Square, and tasting the famous sweets of Iran in a confectionary shop. Visit of the ancient quarters of Yazd with explanation of the qanat water-supply system. Visit of the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and the bazaar.

In the end of afternoon, visit a demonstration of the traditional Iranian sport Zourkhaneh.

Day 10: Yazd – Shiraz [Shiraz, capital of the Achaemenids]

Departure to Shiraz, the city of Rose, and place of birth of the famous poets Hafez and Saadi. Hotel for xx nights.

Day 11: Shiraz – Persepolis- Shiraz [Persepolis, capital of the Achaemenids]

Excursion to Persepolis, a world-famous archeological site, 60 km from Shiraz. Visit of Naghshe – e Rostam, just 7 kms from Persepolis. Return to Shiraz, visit of the Darvazeh – Qoran a monument that shelters a Qoran, and, according to the tradition, wishes a good trip to travelers, and a welcome to visitors. Visit of the tomb of Khajoyeh Kermani, a great poet of XIII, inspiration of Hafez, visit of the Qur’anic School, visit of Hafez and Saadi tombs, visit of Nassir al Molk Mosque, and in the late afternoon visit of the superb bazaar of Shiraz.

Day 12: Flight back home
